■ Legend Silicon Corporation, a co-inventor of the Chinese Digital Television Terrestrial Broadcasting (DTTB) System Standard (GB20600-2006), is a fabless semiconductor company that develops and markets semiconductor products for digital broadcasting and wireless broadband transmission and reception. The company's standards compliant demodulator chips are targeted for high definition and standard definition televisions, integrated digital television (iDTV), set top boxes, mobile phones, portable media players (PMPs), laptop and personal computers, mobile Internet devices, wireless peripheral devices (USB, SDIO), and automotive applications.
■ Legend Silicon co-invented an innovative technology –Time Domain Synchronous - Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (TDS-OFDM) – that is at the core of the China Digital Television Terrestrial Broadcasting (DTTB) System Standard (GB 20600-2006). The technology is designed to enable both traditional terrestrial TV broadcasting and mobile digital TV.
